Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using our service. See also our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. Introduction and acceptance

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern use of the Test Switch service ("Service", "we", "us"). By signing up or paying, you ("you", "Customer") agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms by posting revisions on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Definitions

You must be at least 17 (or the applicable minimum driving age). By accepting these Terms, you confirm you meet this requirement and have legal capacity to enter this agreement.

2. Service description and your responsibilities

2.1 Information you provide

At sign-up you provide contact details, city, preferred test centres (up to six for Premium plans), and a date range. The Service is open to all customers looking for earlier driving test appointments — whether you already have a practical test booked with the DVSA or do not yet have a slot and want alerts when cancellations may appear.

If you already hold a DVSA booking and wish to move it, from 9 June 2026 DVSA rules generally require that changing centre is only to one of the three nearest eligible centres to your current booked location. We apply this restriction to alert preferences where possible so you only receive alerts for slots you may be allowed to take.

You may optionally provide your driving licence number and DVSA booking reference. We use these only to operate the notification service — not to book or change any test on your behalf.

Providing DVSA details to a third party may be restricted by DVSA platform terms. You are responsible for deciding whether to provide them and for any consequences under DVSA terms.

2.2 Your responsibility to act

When we send an alert, you must log in to the official DVSA booking system to book or change your test yourself if you wish. We take no action on your behalf. Slots are first-come-first-served; a slot we alert you about may be gone when you act.

2.3 No multiple competing services

Using several cancellation-alert services at once may reduce effectiveness. We are not responsible for reduced results if another service interferes with yours.

2.4 Account security

Keep your dashboard login and Telegram account secure. Each subscription is for one individual (the licence holder).

3. How the service works

3.1 Manual monitoring and Telegram alerts

After your order is active, our team manually checks throughout the day for cancellation slots that may match your preferences. Checks are conducted by real people for notification purposes only.

When we identify a possible match, we send a Telegram alert as quickly as practicable, including date, time, and centre where known. You must act through the official DVSA system yourself.

We never book, change, amend, cancel, swap, hold, reserve, resell, or manage a driving test. We do not use bots, scripts, browser automation, scraping tools, or automated tools to search the DVSA booking system or to perform any booking-management action.

3.2 Service completion

The Service is considered delivered when we send you an alert for a slot matching your specified preferences, regardless of whether you act, whether the slot remains available, or whether you change your test.

3.3 No guarantee

We cannot guarantee a slot will still be available when you log in, or that we will find a slot within your date range. Cancellations depend on other candidates and DVSA availability.

4. Payment and fees

You pay the fee shown on our website before monitoring begins. Fees are in UK pounds and include VAT where applicable. Our fee covers monitoring and notification only — not DVSA test fees.

Paid notification plans currently include three months of monitoring from activation (see your dashboard). The free trial lasts 3 days: you choose up to six test centres and receive alerts for all available dates no date range selection. Trial users may upgrade to Premium at any time.

Under UK consumer law you may have a 14-day cancellation right if the Service has not begun. Monitoring begins once your preferences are active; by paying you acknowledge immediate commencement where applicable. See our Refund Policy for eligibility within the first 24 hours when no alert has been sent.

5. Communications

Alerts are sent via Telegram. You must install Telegram, open our Telegram channel, and tap Start or send /start to link your account. Keep notifications enabled. We cannot guarantee delivery if Telegram is unavailable, blocked, or misconfigured on your device.

We consider a notification delivered once sent to the Telegram account linked to your order. Act quickly — we cannot hold slots.

6. No affiliation with DVSA

Test Switch is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the DVSA, GOV.UK, or any UK government body. We are an independent notification service only.

From 12 May 2026, SI 2026/326 makes it illegal for third parties to book or change driving tests on behalf of learners. We operate notification-only and comply with that requirement. See How we comply with 2026 DVSA rules on our homepage.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed slots, DVSA cancellations, network failures, or losses arising from your failure to act on an alert. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Data protection

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data under UK GDPR.

9. Contact
